A.This is the final episode that Kim Dongwan has continuously done for three years. He finished doing his language study in Canada for three months. And he will appear in a musical in Korea. So he is very busy now.The last message came to all of you from him.B. I went to CanadaThe first reason why I went to Canada was because I wanted to study English more.I was able to get to know foreigners several times in Korea. However, I was not able to get close with my command of English.Of course, I know it is not easy to make a lot of friends even if I could speak English very well. But at that time, it really was because of my lack of English skill. So I decided to study abroad for such a reason.I didn’t think too hard about doing a long-term overseas stay.I simply thought of it as an athlete going for training during the off-season.Since I had only been working all this time, I felt that there wasn’t anything of substance inside of me.  Therefore, I wanted to go study abroad as soon as possible.I think that it was good to study abroad. In Canada, I learned to know that I busily lived without a reason until now.In the future, I want to stay abroad for around two months during the year.C.When I travel, there were a lot of times that I set off with a purpose and all my actions during the trip were tied to that.  During this stay, however, I didn’t specifically decide that “I must do something!”Instead of thinking about a purpose, I aimed to play a lot with the friends I had met here.I took walks and rode my bicycle and….And I watched a movie called Into the Wild at that time because friends were excited about it.I felt that I wanted the time when I could assimilate into nature.I’m making a plan to go to the Himalayas soon.D. Whistler is attractiveWhen I first told the Shinhwa members about studying abroad, they said to me, “You will come home in a month.”Actually, I was slightly afraid that I might suffer from homesickness. When I was in Vancouver, I felt that every day was hard. The miscellaneous scenery is similar to Seoul and people always look so very busy. So I felt the kind of loneliness of being in a city.Because I wanted to go to a more quiet place, I decided to change my stay to Whistler. Many international students return to Vancouver because there is only skiing in Whistler. That’s why, to have my own time, I decided to stay in Whistler.I didn’t feel the loneliness in Whistler. I felt able to be myself and become a part of nature here. Many skiers have said, “It is like heaven or a black hole here.”I was able to understand this feeling. Some people say that it is boring [in Whistler], but I was able to get used to this environment immediately. My body’s biorhythm now fits the rhythm of the mountains here. There is a mystical atmosphere in Whistler. To explain it in words is hard.It is similar to the atmosphere of Gangwon-do in South Korea.(During winter vacation, I always spend it at Daegwallyeong of Gangwon-do. It is my mother’s hometown.)Actually, Shinhwa members didn’t understand my plans for long-term overseas stay since I am over 30 years old.But maybe that’s a good thing. If there had been one other member like me, when would we do Shinhwa activities? lol.E.I grilled special steak for a house party with friends.F.At a Japanese restaurant that I like.G.After language school classes, I played by riding downhill bikes or snowboarding. Downhill biking is a dangerous sport in which you ride a mountain bike to go down mountain roads.I got injured a lot, but I became hooked. This painful injury is also an honorable scar for me.
